Chloe has been in E commerce since 2003. And there's barely a part of the E commerce landscape that she has not gotten involved with. One thing she's always done is solve an E commerce marketing problem.
A little about the Keep Optimizing Podcast:
If you’re looking for ways to improve your marketing results, get more traffic, and convert more customers – you should be listening to Keep Optimising.
Each week our host Chloë Thomas (best-selling author of ‘eCommerce Marketing: How to Get Traffic that BUYS to Your Website) interviews experts from around the world to bring you the latest and best advice on how to optimise your marketing.
One of the most important things to do when improving your marketing is to focus. If you’re constantly jumping from one marketing method to the next it’s going to take you forever to make each work for you. To help you focus we’re not jumping from one marketing method to the next either.
Each month we zero in on one marketing method, giving you a different way to improve it in each episode.
A little about the Ecommerce Masterplan Podcast:
The aim has never changed – to share inspiring and insightful stories of how other eCommerce business have gone about growing.
So every week we interview a different retailer (or occasionally an author or expert) to find out what they’ve been up to, and get them to share advice that will help you plot a better, faster, route to growth.
Our Host Chloe Thomas
Chloe is the brains behind the show, and has been in eCommerce for nearly 20 years. Initially she worked brand-side for a UK high-street/mail-order/online gift retailer where she totally got the eCommerce bug.
In her next post (the kid-in-the-candy-shop-role) she got to introduce eCommerce marketing to a group of mail order brands. Then she took all she’d learnt there and founded a marketing agency that she ran for 9 years and 11 months.
The sale of the agency has allowed Chloe to focus full time on helping as many eCommerce brands as possible to make better marketing decisions.
Tune in this week to hear all about it from the source!
Can you give us kind of like a journey about how you became an entrepreneur and where you are today?
So how do you get in front of those ideal clients?
So when you're getting sponsors for your podcasts do they cover? What kind of aspects do they cover? Do they just like buy like space for an ad in your show? Or do they? How do you run that aspect of it?
So what kind of do you have your listeners for your content and stuff? Do you feel like you kind of solve certain themes within your episodes?
So you've had a pretty interesting journey thus far? What are some of the big goals that you're looking to achieve in the next year or two?
Why do you think we should focus more on the long term aspects of things, and not necessarily all those quick wins that lots of people tend to focus on?
So do you have any tips for making goals or setting goals that get us excited?
So you have your podcast? What else do you do to stand out online?
What's some of the best advice that you've ever received?
Yeah, it might be a fun idea, but might not be the best idea. Exactly. So what's the best advice you've ever given?
Is there anything that you would like to share with us that we haven't talked about yet?
Where can we go to find out more about you and what you do?
